Guests can relax in the comfortable garden chairs, take their meals and sunbathe in the Melungtse hotel’s peaceful, beautiful and well stocked garden with a wide range of flowers including perfumed roses; it is a real respite from the downtown “hustle and bustle” of Kathmandu.

The hotel’s small garden is lovingly cared for by the owner Mr. Giri who has a passion for roses and has painstakingly sown the lawn by hand. The garden provides the perfect setting for taking tea and catching up on mail or reading.

On request from guest we can take guests to any site seeing or trekking if desired. Although Hotel Melungtese is not a tour agency, Our staffs are more than well trained to take any guest on around the country sight seeing or any short trekking around the valley.
